Ok, if you watched the Super Bowl, you probably noticed the shift to AI-focused advertising.
And I don’t just mean a few clever nods. The number of ads for AI platforms alone was enough to make the point, before you even count the AI-generated creative or, if you’re paying attention, the AI-written scripts. It was everywhere.
So what did I think? Some of the ads were genuinely good. A few made me want to change the channel immediately. What stood out was the confidence. Big budgets, glossy storytelling, bold claims about what AI can do for you, or who you become when you use it.
And the AI talk doesn’t stop for a football game. This week our team is on the ground at Digiday’s AI Marketing Strategies event, where the conversations are far less cinematic and much more practical. How do brands actually show up when buyers ask AI for recommendations? How do you earn trust when the interface answering the question isn’t yours?
If you take those questions seriously, you end up in the same place: AI visibility matters now. Not next quarter. Now.
This is the moment to get serious about AI visibility. If you missed our AI Visibility Insider Session with Profound (legit AI visibility leaders), watch the replay here. And if you want to understand what Profound does at a glance, start here.
Then, just to pile on, ChatGPT ads launched Monday for Free and Go users. Phew. What a week.

The AI Search Revolution: Why Your Marketing Funnel is Broken
With Dan Monaghan (Co-Founder, WSI Digital; Author, The AI Search Revolution)
If your current AI strategy is “move faster and publish more,” this conversation will challenge that instinct.
On this episode of Good Enough Isn’t, Myles Biggs and I sat down with Dan Monaghan to talk about how serious leaders are actually using AI. Dan isn’t interested in scaling output for its own sake. He’s focused on where AI creates real leverage when search, discovery, and decision-making start collapsing into answer engines.
We get into how AI-driven search changes the role of marketing entirely, why many funnels now feel like extra work instead of value, and how leaders can use AI as a strategic thinking partner instead of a content machine.
What we cover:
Why AI shifts power away from funnels and toward answers
Using the Theory of Constraints to find real growth bottlenecks
How “thinking like Sherlock” helps leaders spot clues inside their own data
The difference between task-level AI and decision-level AI
Super Bowl ads pushed AI into the spotlight From spirits to frontier model labs, brands used the Super Bowl to associate themselves with intelligence, creativity, and futurism. The open question is whether those associations hold when AI systems, not humans, decide who gets referenced. Read more
ChatGPT ads move closer to a real rollout OpenAI testing ads in ChatGPT for Free and Go users signals where monetization is headed, and it puts ads in a high-intent moment. For marketers, this shifts the focus toward credibility and clarity in answers. Read more
Brand relevancy is getting easier to diagnose This one leans on data to show how relevance holds or slips over time, with signals that brands can track instead of guessing. The practical payoff is clarity: you can see whether your messaging stays consistent across channels, whether it sticks, and where it fades. That matters more when discovery increasingly flows through summarized interfaces. Read more
Amazon is wiring ads into AI agent workflows Amazon is enabling communication between its ads platform and AI agents, which points toward campaign management that happens through agent-led actions. That speeds up optimization and expands what “automation” can touch. It also raises the bar on governance, because agents will follow instructions aggressively and spend money fast. Read more
Creative video is leaning into authenticity Authenticity, lo-fi production, and creator-led storytelling continue to outperform overproduced assets. Teams can use AI to accelerate edits, versions, and testing, but the work still needs a point of view and a reason to care in the first two seconds. Read more
TikTok metrics that reveal intent Views are cheap. Signals like saves, rewatches, and downstream behavior are what feed both algorithms and AI understanding. Those behaviors show when content triggers interest beyond a passive view. They also help you diagnose creative that people watch versus creative that people skip. Read more
Deep dive: AI
How AI is changing leadership decisions
Leadership roles are changing, not because AI is making decisions, but because it’s collapsing the distance between question and answer.
This piece looks at how CMOs and CEOs are adjusting as analysis gets cheap and instant. When teams can generate options in minutes, leadership can’t hide behind vague strategy or slow decision cycles as easily. Calls get made faster, ownership gets clearer, and the reasoning underneath decisions becomes easier to examine.
What I like is the emphasis on expectations over tooling. The leaders in this article use AI to pressure-test assumptions and surface tradeoffs earlier, not to outsource judgment.
Paid media is entering a quieter phase of change. Not fewer updates, but fewer decisions visible to humans.
This article is a solid map of what survives that shift. It draws a clear line between execution and judgment. Platforms execute fast, but they don’t understand business context. They won’t tap you on the shoulder when intent drifts, when lead volume turns into junk, or when the account looks “healthy” while the pipeline quietly gets worse.
The useful part is how it frames the new role: less lever-pulling, more signal interpretation, and more responsibility for what the system is learning.
OpenClaw is the new hotness for anyone who wants AI to run workflows instead of writing drafts. It’s built for the “make it do something” crowd: connect it to tools, give it permissioned actions, and let it execute.
Why I’m recommending it: the rapid rename history isn’t a gimmick, it’s a signal that the project is evolving in public at speed.
If you’re paying attention to where agents are heading, OpenClaw sits right on the seam between chat and operations: wiring actions, handling real tasks, and forcing you to think about guardrails early.
Get your AI Visibility Scorecard
AI platforms are shaping how buyers discover and vet brands. But most marketers don’t know if their brand even shows up.
Level’s AI Visibility Scorecard shows how often your brand appears in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, how you’re described, and how that compares to your competitors.
You'll get:
A visibility score and share of voice vs top competitors
Sentiment analysis of how your brand is framed in AI answers
A tactical roadmap to improve your citations, content structure, and authority signals
Used by leading brands and fine-tuned across real buyer prompts, this scorecard is your opportunity to drive real visibility in the zero-click search environment.
